Video: Flower Garden Tour

How would you like to go on a flower garden tour? Well, you can do just that by watching this week’s video!

About 3 weeks ago, I shot a video of our large front flower bed and our pollinator garden. I felt an update was in order because everything has burst into bloom.

Bill and I have lived in Spokane, Washington (hardiness zone 5b/6a) for over 30 years. As soon as we moved into our home, I created a long, narrow flower bed out front. I was just so anxious to see some colors in our bare landscape! As time has gone by, we’ve made the bed much wider and given it some curvy edges.

In 2019, we removed a bunch of lawn and planted a pollinator garden. That was so much fun. You can read my blog post and watch a video about it at this link on my website. That post also contains a little of the flowers and seeds we planted. Boy is it popular with the pollinators so we’re pretty ecstatic!

When I was ready to shoot this video, I decided to just put captions to identify each flower, rather than talk through it. And I used some peaceful, fun music to accompany it. After all, sometimes you just need to admire the beauty, right? I hope you’ll enjoy my flower garden tour.
