Video: 2025 Garden Season Introduction

Garden expert Susan Mulvihill, 2025 garden season introduction

I’m so excited that it’s finally time to talk about the 2025 garden season! Even though many of us are experiencing cold weather conditions, it’s important to make plans and get organized.

That’s what this week’s video is about. In it, I introduce myself for folks who are new to my channel. You’ll also get to see some photos of what our garden looks like during the growing season. I didn’t think to mention that Bill and I have done all of the work ourselves.

I also discuss why vegetable gardening is such an important skill to have and the many ways it benefits us. For example, if you’ve been annoyed by rising grocery prices, this is a very good time to start growing your own food!

My favorite part of putting this video together was letting you know about my new Grow Vegetables section! If you haven’t checked it out yet, you’ll definitely want to take a look. With the 2025 garden season rapidly approaching, the section should help you decide what to grow. My information will provide you with everything you need your fingertips.

Detailed information on vegetable garden insects is the one thing I didn’t have the time to provide. Fortunately, my bestselling book, The Vegetable Garden Pest Handbook, will provide that for you. I encourage you to get a copy because it helps you identify insects, covers their life cycle, and which crops they bother. You’ll learn how to spot signs of their activity, who their natural predators are, and organic controls.

Both The Vegetable Garden Pest Handbook and The Vegetable Garden Problem Solver Handbook are in my Amazon store. (As an Amazon affiliate, I earn small commissions on sales but it doesn’t impact the price you pay.) The Problem Solver Handbook covers weather challenges, plant disorders and diseases, and dealing with critters.
