Video: Seed Starting Indoors Pt. 3
I didn’t intend to shoot three videos on the topic of indoor seed starting but here we are! After the second part was in the can, I received some great questions. That made me realize there were a few more details to share with you.
This video includes an update on the seeds I planted last week. You’ll also learn an unusual way to start onions from seed and when to start your seeds. I will cover the differences between cool- and warm-season vegetable crops. You will even hear about the best timing for starting your tomatoes and peppers from seed. Last but not least, I’ll share a special resource you can use on my website.
There are some compelling reasons to start your own plants:
- You can grow varieties that you just can’t find in garden centers
- You know how they were raised
- Sometimes, seedlings from garden centers or plant sales have either disease or insect problems on them
- Starting your own plants from seed is so economical!
I hope you’ll find all of these videos helpful. Next week, I’ll explain everything you need to know about which fertilizers to use! That’s because I know that aspect of gardening can be a bit confusing. Don’t worry, I’ll take the mystery out of it for you!
