Video: Vegetable Garden Pest Handbook
For the last month, I’ve given tiny peeks into my new book, The Vegetable Garden Pest Handbook. Your response has been so upbeat and heartwarming. I can finally show you exactly what’s in my book and I have a special announcement about it, too!
In my newest video (at bottom of post), I take you on a tour of my book, chapter by chapter. That way, you can see all of the things it encompasses. What’s my cool announcement? Starting today, everyone who pre-orders my book will receive bonus content. It isn’t in the book and you can’t find it anywhere else. It’s called “Susan’s Top Tips for the Vegetables Everyone Loves to Grow!”
In it, you’ll find helpful advice and new insights into growing all sorts of vegetables. These include artichokes, beans, carrots, corn, garlic, leeks, onions, peas, peppers, potatoes, pumpkins, squash, and tomatoes. What’s more, I’ve included lists of my favorite, best-performing varieties for each of these types of crops. There’s even information on soil preparation. This includes the important step of hardening-off seedlings before you plant them in the garden.
The Vegetable Garden Pest Handbook will be published in April 2021, by Cool Springs Press.
Commonly-asked questions about The Vegetable Garden Pest Handbook:
1. Is the book geared toward beginning gardeners? I can happily reply that I designed it for all levels of gardeners. My goal was to share exactly what gardeners need to know, without getting too “sciency.” Everything is very understandable and my solutions are easy to apply to your own situation.
2. Where can I pre-order your book? You can pre-order it at your local independent bookstore or online. For online sources, please go to the Books page on my website. I have compiled a list of sources. Each of the links goes directly to my book, just to keep things simple.
And I’ll throw in one more question, since you’ll be wondering:
3. How do I get the bonus content for pre-ordering? All you have to do is email a copy of your pre-order confirmation to me. My email address is Susan@susansinthegarden.com. I’ll happily send a link to the content right back to you. Easy peasy!
