Video: How to Grow Amaryllis Bulbs
Are you growing Amaryllis bulbs indoors? Do you throw out the bulbs after they’ve finished blooming? Well, stop that! You’ll find out how easy it is to get them to bloom for you year after year.
I’ve been growing Amaryllis bulbs for years. They are so stunningly beautiful! I’m envious of folks in warmer climes (zones 9-11) who can grow them outdoors year-round. But growing the bulbs indoors over the fall and winter months serves a purpose. I feel like I’m actually doing a bit of gardening — not that these carefree bulbs require anything special. But when they bloom? Oh yeah, they’re totally worth it!
I’m hoping that once you watch this new video, you’ll pick up a few for yourself and for gifts. These lovely bulbs aren’t expensive and they are such a treat to grow.
Have you bought or received waxed Amaryllis bulbs? I have a video on how to get them to keep blooming for you. I also have a blog post on Amaryllis after-care.
There are a lot of sources for these amazing bulbs. You can buy them at your local home center, grocery story, or hardware store. There are plenty of online sources for them as well.
