As I’m sure you’ve noticed, I have a fixation with birds! They are so delightful to watch, especially throughout the seasons. With that in mind, I have produced a new video on how to care for your garden birds in winter.

In this video, I include information on providing your birds with water and food. I also cover which types of feeders work best. You’ll even find a slide show of the birds we see in our Spokane, Washington garden during the winter months.

I hope you’ll find this video both useful and fun. I know you share my love of birds, too! If you’re wondering what the adorable little bird above is, it’s a common redpoll. We don’t see them every winter here but it’s a joy when they do show up. They are such a sweet little songbird.

Did you know that I have a special bird section on this website? It’s called Birds in the Garden and includes profiles of our backyard birds. Other features are tips on attracting birds to your garden and bird photography.
