Travel Stories: Fun with Clay Pots at Chateau du Rivau
On Wednesday, I wrote a blog post about our travel group’s visit to the beautiful Chateau du Rivau and garden. I saw something really cute in their children’s garden: creative sculptures made from clay pots.
They definitely caught my eye because they were so delightful. I’d never seen anything made like this before.
I thought you might get a kick out of them so here are photos of what we saw. I’ll bet those of you who are super creative could make some fun garden art for your garden. If you live in a colder climate like I do, you would need to move them indoors to prevent crack.
But take a look and let me know if you whip up one of these! Be sure to read my other post about the Chateau du Rivau because it was delightful.
Here is a link to more about information about this wonderful garden.
Everybody needs a clay pot chicken in their garden, right?
Click on the above photo to view a larger image to look at the “clay human” in the background! In the foreground, this was a peacock. You can’t quite see the head of the peacock but certainly his tail.
What fun!
