2019 Horticulture Class Series

tulips, horticulture class series

Each year, the Spokane County Master Gardeners host this special series of classes on a wealth of useful gardening topics. I wanted to make sure you are aware of this 12-week course because it’s a wonderful opportunity for those with all levels of gardening skills, even beginners!

The classes are scheduled for Thursdays from 9 a.m. to noon, starting on January 17, 2019.

This is an introduction to the principles and practices involved in the identification, selection, development, production, and care of horticultural crops (fruits, vegetables, turf, and landscape).  Designed to be flexible and structured around your needs, completing the full Horticulture Series earns a program certificate.  Pesticide Applicator, Arborist, and other continuing education credits will be available for select classes.

The cost is $275 for the series or $35 for individual classes, so you can pick and choose your classes if that works better for your schedule and budget. To register and for more information, go to this link.
