How to Overwinter Canna Lilies
Yes! Would you believe I’ve shot three (3!) videos in one week? It’s been a busy last few days in the Mulvihill garden, let me tell you. But with frosts hitting areas of Spokane and the Inland Northwest, I felt it was time to shoot a new video on how to overwinter Canna lilies.
I’ve done this for the past three years and have had a nearly 100% success rate. Even when I’ve thought an overwintered bulb wasn’t going to produce a plant, I’ve potted it up anyway and always been surprised!
If you’re curious, the photo at the top left is of some of my canna lily bulbs drying off before I move them to their storage set-up in our basement for the next few months.
So here is my updated video (after all, it’s been 3 years since my last one) on how to overwinter Canna lilies. It is very easy and will save you a lot of money.
Did you enjoy the video? I have all sorts of gardening videos on my YouTube channel.
