Susan’s “Growing a Greener World” Episode
I’ve noticed that a lot of you have “found” me. That was after watching the “Growing a Greener World” episode where our garden was featured. But perhaps you haven’t actually seen the episode. Well, I’ve got you covered!
“Growing a Greener World” is a wonderful PBS program that I’ve followed and enjoyed watching for years. In August of 2016, the host (Joe Lamp’l) and his photographer flew here from Atlanta. They filmed the episode in our garden over the course of two days. It was a LOT of work but Bill and I are really pleased with how it turned out. The episode aired in early June 2017.
Here is a link to the episode, which will take you to the GGW website. You’ll notice the show notes are beneath the video screen, along with some photos from our garden. You’ll find some links to a few sources on this website and my YouTube channel. I felt they would be helpful to those viewing the episode.
I do hope you’ll consider watching it! For a peek behind the scenes of the making of the episode, just go to my blog post about it. There is a video embedded within that post. You’ll also see a link to the garden column I wrote for The Spokesman-Review about the experience.
