Northwest Flower & Garden Show
Have you ever been to the Northwest Flower & Garden Show in Seattle? If you haven’t — well, even if you have — you owe it to yourself to go! It is the perfect midwinter pick-me-up for gardeners who are aching to get back outside to play in the dirt.
The show will be held from Feb. 7 to 11, at the Washington State Convention Center in downtown Seattle. The hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
I love going to the Northwest Flower & Garden Show because I get to see what’s new in plants, tools and techniques. There are a ton of interesting and informative seminars that are included in the cost of admission. The marketplace is so much fun to wander through! They even have a vintage garden market with shabby chic goodies for sale.
It is such a treat to see pots of blooming plants and garden ideas in the dead of winter.
The display gardens are awesome every year. You’ll think you’re lost in a garden rather than walking through convention center! I always get great ideas for landscaping and outdoor decor.
On the skybridge, you’ll find City Living displays, which provide great ideas for ways to garden within a small, urban setting.
Are you excited to go to the show yet? In addition to perhaps “dropping a hint” that you’d like to go, think what a great gift this would make for your gardening friends! You can find all of the information you need through the link at the top of this post.
