Do you enjoy seeing tulips and daffodils in the spring? I’m sure you do and I’m right there with you. They’re always such a wonderful sight, especially after a long winter. If you’re wondering how to plant fall bulbs, you’re in luck.

I just finished putting together a video on bulb-planting tips so you will have the most success. Sure, you can just plop the bulbs into the ground very quickly. But with a little forethought, you can turn your garden into something really special next year.

It’s important to choose the right spots for your bulbs. And don’t plant them in straight lines! It looks much more natural if you plant them in clumps. Some folks will toss the bulbs onto the soil and plant them where they land. I started doing that quite a few years ago and it makes all the difference.

Follow the instructions on the bulb packets, regarding planting depth and spacing, though.

Before I give away all of the information in my video, it’s probably way more fun watching a video than reading all of this text, right? I hope it’ll be helpful for you!

Have fun planting your bulbs and get ready for a lovely show next year!
