A Note from Susan

tulipsHello, gardening friends!

May 5, 2024 _ It’s so exciting that we’re in the month of May now. Our garden season here in Spokane, Wash. will really get going although we do have to be careful of sneaky frosts.

We’re in the middle of a rainy system right now, which is very good news. Not so much that I will be stuck indoors for the most part but we really need the moisture. The Northwest is expected to have very hot and very dry conditions this summer so all rain we can get would be so helpful.

My newest video is about 4 wonderful plant supports we use in our vegetable garden. Here’s a link to the video on my blog.

Are you ready for any vegetable garden challenges that might come your way this season? In my book, The Vegetable Garden Problem Solver Handbook, I address weather-related issues (including heat and drought), vegetable disorders and diseases, germination and pollination problems, dealing with all sorts of critters in the garden and so much more. You can get a personalized copy of The Vegetable Garden Problem Solver Handbook from me! Just send me an email at Susan@SusansintheGarden.com and I’ll take care of you quickly. If you would prefer to order it directly from Amazon, here is my affiliate link to it. Thank you for supporting your friendly author!
