April 16, 2026 _ Hi, everybody! I had big plans for the vegetable garden this week… that is, until I looked at the weather forecast: heavy rain, high winds at times, below-freezing temperatures and even SNOW. That’s what Mother Nature likes to do this time of year, here in Spokane, Wash. Heavy sigh. At least our daffodils are doing great!

Because of this, I had to switch video topics. I originally planned to plant our broccoli crop this year and share a wealth of tips with you. But there’s no way I was going to subject my lovingly-started broccoli seedlings to that sort of weather! So “Plan B” was to do a gardening Q&A. I asked folks on my Facebook & Instagram feeds to post questions, which everyone happily did. From those, I chose 10 questions that I felt folks would benefit from… and here’s the resulting video: Your Gardening Questions Answered.
